Prosperity in 2013
Everyone desires to be prosperous in whatever he or she does. Psalm 1 gives us the formula for prosperity. It starts out with some don’ts, and I wondered why. Then I realized it is easier for us to pursue the don’ts and we do feel good when we can say. I am not doing this or I am not doing that. However, pursuing the positive behaviors takes energy and discipline. It can be like climbing mountainous terrain; which takes effort and will to accomplish the task. Psalm 1:1 states: “Blessed is the one who does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly. Nor stands in the way of sinners; nor sits in the seat of the scornful.
